Are Agates a good investment? The simple answer is yes. Bank interest pays you virtually nothing, and the Stock Market is up and down. If a person does their home work with study, research, patience, and a bit of courage there is no reason that Agates for example won't be profitable. We would never encourage people to invest money that they can't afford to lose in any endeavor, but we have kept our investments in Gems, Minerals, and most recently Agates as a hobby and not a full time business.
