The Poliyhedroid Agate was a 1970's discovery in one single location in Minas Gerias, Brazil. The mining area quickly played out, and no other location for this type of Agate has been discovered there, or in any other location in the world. Ones that exist are in private collections, and by most Agate standards are considered to be in the Rare category. This one weighs jus over 1 pound. It has a mirror image polish and is in superb condition. It also has a little center feature beneath the surface that is extremely unique. It looks like a small yellow crystal with an orange tip.
