This is a long Oval Gem that would be suitable for a pendant. It is an Oregon Opal that is really flawless. It came from Opal Butte which has been closed for years and is now an Elk Hunting Lodge. There are no more Opal Butte gems to be found unless they are in private collections. The color is a pastel blue that is amazingly reflective and has some nice yellow flash under direct light. These are American Treasures that are not enhanced in any way. They are 100% Natural, and with the Mine closed over a decade ago they are highly collectible.
