We want to be Crystal Clear that this is an Opal from Opal Butter a Mine which has been closed in Oregon for nearly 20 years. The quality of Fire Opals that came from that mine are off the charts. Nothing of this quality has been found in Oregon since. We have only a few, and we actually have a good price too. The stone is 10 mm and will therefore fit into any pre-made Gold or Silver setting. That saves money. We cannot give a recommendation to an Opal any higher than this one.
