The Montana Dryhead is no longer mined. It closed in the late 1990's, and was the only source of this fine Agate considered by many to the nicest Agate every produced in the USA. This particular Agate is really a good one. It is beautifully banded with excellent pattern, and coloration. With perfect polish it would be a nice addition to virtually any Agate collection. We also have a really good price on it, so if you want a stone that can really be expensive, and is from the USA, and no longer produced this would be an excellent choice.
